The New DFW Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club!

Welcome to the DFW Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club! We are in the process of reinventing our club, including new leadership and a new focus, so please forgive our current lack of activity. That is not representative of what is coming – we assure you!

While we are changing things up a bit, we will continue our work to educate prospective and current Cavalier owners about the breed, encourage responsible dog ownership across all breeds and assist Rescue organizations in recovering and placing dogs with their forever families. What’s new? We will begin working on Rally, Agility and other events rather than just Confirmation. This will shift the club’s focus to include events all Cavalier owners can participate in with their pets. One thing we can all agree on is that we all love our Cavs!

There are a few events remaining in 2013. We will hold a Meet & Greet at a local Pumpkin Patch and a Christmas Party (details coming soon). We hope to see all of you and your puppies in all your/their finery at both of these events!  We are planning some interactive games with fun and giveaways so don’t miss out on the fun.

In the new year, Club meetings with our dogs will be held once a quarter in locations around the DFW Metroplex. We are putting that schedule together now, so let us know of any great meet-up locations in your area. We will also gladly post information about other meet-ups and activities, so please know what is happening in your neck of the woods!

As a club, we are all about enjoying our pets and enjoying each other’s company with the focus on the Cavalier as a breed. We welcome all Cavalier owners or future owners. Don’t have a cavalier, no worries! We welcome everyone’s four legged friends.  We look forward to seeing you!
